I’m so glad that you’re here! I’m Haley, the owner of Haley Bates Photography. I wanted to use my first blog post as a way to introduce myself and let y’all get to know a little more about me.
I am 23 years old and aside from running my photography business, I am also a full-time accountant at an engineering firm in Huntsville, AL. I am married to my best friend, Hunter, and we are both graduates of the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!). We are a tad too obsessed with our 3 pups, Kota, Bella, and June, so I am sure you will be seeing pictures of them pop up on my blog very often!

I got my first camera for the sole purpose of taking pictures of my dogs- yes, I am one of those crazy dog moms. That led me to start volunteering with Wages to Riches Photography, which is a group of volunteers that takes professional photos of animals at shelters and rescues to help them find forever homes. I have been hooked on photography ever since! It is so rewarding to see the impact my photos make on both human and canine lives!
